Costing half the price of similar offerings from big name brands such as Sony and Pioneer, the Umax Vaova CR-560TFT delivers an amazing range of features for a fraction of the cost.

Not only do you get a fully featured slot loading audio CD player that supports both CD-R/RW disks along with a well specified FM tuner supporting RDS, TA/TP and AMS, the CR-560TFT also supports MP3 file playback.

What really sets this unit apart from others in the range is the 3.6" TFT LCD display and DVD playback support. Enjoy your car journeys by loading in your favourite DVDs and enjoy playback on the 450 x 350 dpi resolution screen, with all sound coming through your car speakers.

As with most of the Umax car audio range, this CR-560TFT car stereo features both a USB port (for connecting an MP3 player/USB disk with removable disc drive support) and a built in SD/MMC card reader. This means that you have multiple ways to play MP3 files in your car.

It would not be sensible to have a DVD playing while the car is moving, so Umax include a cable on this player that connects to the handbrake and prevents DVD playback while the handbrake is off.

The included RCA output allows you to connect a second screen (for example in the rear of the car) if required, while the RCA input means you can connect a reversing camera or a games console (PS2, Xbox 360, Gamecube).

Tip: To provide power to your console use a 12V DC/AC Power Inverter.

This is a great sounding unit (4 x 40W), especially when paired up with a decent subwoofer. It features a multi coloured VFD display along with an anti-theft fold-down detachable panel.

Cant Fault This!!!
This is my 1st review as i dont usually bother with writing them(just reading them), but this is an awesome piece of kit.Hardest thing about installing this was removing my old unit.Installation was dead simple.(you dont even have to connect the handbrake cable for it to work when your moving, although its up to you if you want to watch n drive at the same time). Plays avi's straight from the sd card slot and the films on DVD do not jump at all.It also has different viewing angles and always remembers what position it was last in so no messing about.Delivery was quick as usual (but prefer the next day option but as of todays date it was not available).Will recommend this unit to anyone, Only thing i could fault if i was being picky is that although this has a built in TV tuner, No ariel is included (unlike on other units BUT these are more expensive anyway).But i have ordered a mobile freeview box anyhow. Would recommend this to anyone.

DVD without the big screen.
I've been looking for something like this for a while. I wanted a DVD player in the car (I have lots of music DVDs that sound great even if you arn't watching them) but in my motor (Old Merc) one of those flip frong models where the screen comes out and up from the console would cover all the heater and air-con controls, so I wanted a screen that fitted within the DIN size. I looked at a few models but based on previous experience of Umax and of SVP I chose this one. Very happy with it. Sound and vision is all good and installation was done in a couple of hours. I can't give it full marks cos I don't know how reliable it will be, so I'll give it 9/10 at the moment but that mark might get even better if it doesn't give me any aggro!

I bought this knowing that if I didn't like it I could send it back (SVP Rule!). Not a chance of me sending this back...No Way! Easy to slot in (In my Scoobie), worked straight away and the DVD playing facility has made my mates jaws drop. I've told them I had it imported from Japan and it cost a fortune cos I don't want them all to get them (Sorry SVP)
